Born on 20 December 1979 in Barcelona, Spain, Jonas De Roeck is a Belgian football player playing currently for FC Augsburg in Germany as a defender.
He commenced his football youth career with Rochus Deume in 1986. After a year he moved to Park Sharon Tornados in 1987 and continued with the same for the next three years till 1991. In 1991 he moved to Cobham FC and then to Royal Andwerp FC in 1992.
He signed his first senior contract with the Royal Antwerp FC in 1999 and was transferred to Lierse S.K. in 2001 making the maximum number of 103 appearances and scoring 8 goals. He joined K.F.C. Germinal Beerschot in 2005 and left it to join K.A.A Gent.
