Born on 8 March 1991, Robert Mak is a Slovak footballer, playing currently for 1.FC Nuremberg of German Bundesliga as a winger and for Slovakia national under-21 football team.
Mak began his career with Slovan Bratislava in 1998. At the age of 13, he joined Manchester City Academy and had progressed to Manchester City Reserves at the age of 17. He signed a three year contract with 1.FC Nuremberg in which he has scored 4 goals in 29 appearances. Mak scored his first goal in a 1-3 defeat against 1. FC Kaiserlautern on 20 November 2010.
Mak is also the FA Youth Cup winner of 207-08 season. and has represented the national team of Slovakia in U-17, U-19 and U-21 level.
