Artur Sobiech is a professional Polish football player playing presently for Hannover 96. After spending almost four years at Ruch Chorzow, Artur joined Polonia Warszawa in July 2010. The Polonia team paid one million euros for him. He was transferred to Hannover 96 on 30 June 2011, signing a contract till June 2014.
In May 2010, he received his first call up to the Poland national football team. Prior to this, he had played for the Poland U-21 team. He even got an award for the Ekstraklasa discovery of the year and made his international debut on 29th of May, against Finland. He replaced Ireneusz Jelen in the 89th minute. This match, however, ended in a goalless result of 0-0.
