Christian Pander is a football player playing for Hannover 96. This professional defender is quite known for his powerful left foot free kicks and for his willingness to explode the left wing.

Pander is a part of the Schalke 04 youth system other than the senior squad since 2004. His Bundesliga debut came on 6th August 2004 with a 1-0 away loss to Werder Bremen. However, Pander's career was plagued with injuries, due to which he had to miss the entire 2005-06 and 2009-10 seasons. His last match was for Schalke held on 10th May 2009. During this match, he injured his knee against Borussia player, Monchengladbach and had to be taken off the match in the 16th minute.

He joined Hannover 96 on 19th June 2011, signing a one year contract. With right to his international career, he scored on his debut match for Germany on 22nd August, 2007 against England. This game ended with the Germany team defeating England team with 2-1.
