Jeffrey Bruma is a young Netherlands international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club Hamburg on loan from the English and European giants Chelsea. He plays as a central defender and is rated as one of the most promising young players in Europe.
Bruma joined Chelsea from Feyenoord in 2007 and played in their youth team for two years. He was drafted into the Blues first team in 2009 and joined Leicester City on loan in 2011.
In the summer of 2011 Bruma joined Hamburg from Chelsea on loan for the 2011-12 season and after a successful campaign for the Bundesliga side, remains at HSV for the 2012-13 campaign.

Bruma made his international debut for the Netherlands against Ukraine in August 2010.
