Mohamed Abdullah Zidan commonly known as “Zizou” is an Egyptian footballer born on 11 December 1981 in Port Said. He is currently playing for Borussia Dortmund as a striker as well as for the National Team of Egypt. He is popular for experimenting unique designs in his hairs.
He commenced his career early during his youth days with Al-Masry in 1989 and has played with the same for long time of 10 years. He has also had an opportunity to play with different clubs including AB in 1999, Midtjylland in 2003 where he scored maximum number of 30 goals in 47 matches, Werder Bremen in 2005, Mainz 05 on 2005 and 2007 and Hamburger SV in 2007 where he had appeared for the maximum number of 64 times.
Zidan has also represented the Egyptian National Football team in 2005 scoring 9 goals in 39 matches.
Zidan has received several honors during his career tenure till now. He was the top scorer of Danish Superliga in two consecutive seasons of 2004-05 and 2005-06 respectively. Moreover, he was an important part of squad of Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana 2008 and in Angola in 2010.
