Danny Wilson is a Scotland international football player who currently features for the English and European giants Liverpool. He is a versatile defender who can play as a centre-back or as a left-back.
Wilson developed at the youth academy of Scottish giants Rangers and was part of the first team from 2008 to 2010, scoring one goal in 14 league appearances. His professional debut for the Glasgow giants came in the Scottish League Cup against Dundee in October 2009 in a game that they won 3-1.
Just over a week later, Wilson became the youngest Rangers player ever to feature in the Champions League after he started in their 1-1 draw with Unirea Urziceni. He was just 17 years, 312 days at the time.

In July 2012 Liverpool signed Wilson from Rangers on a three-year contract for a transfer fee of £2 million. He made his first-team debut for the Reds on September 22, 2010 in their defeat to Northampton Town in the third round of the League Cup. Wilson made his first Premier League start against West Ham United on February 2011 in a 3-1 defeat.
In January 2012 Wilson was loaned out to Blackpool for the remainder of the 2011-12 season. He returned to Liverpool for the start of the 2012-13 campaign.
Wilson made his international debut for Scotland against the Faroe Islands on November 16, 2010 and scored in the game too.
