Romelu Lukaku is a Belgium international football player who currently features for the Italian giants Inter Milan on loan from English and European giants Chelsea. He plays as a striker and is rated as one of the most promising in the world.

Lukaku commenced his professional club football at Belgian giants Anderlecht in 2008 and played for them for the next three years, scoring 33 goals in 73 league appearances. He was crucial in his side winning the Belgian Pro League in 2009-10 and the Belgian Supercup in 2010, topscoring in the championship that season.

In August 2011 Anderlecht signed Lukaku from Anderlecht £13 million. He struggled in his first season in the Premier League, and was unable to make a massive impact.

Lukaku was farmed out on loan to West Bromwich Albion for the 2012-13 season, netting 17 Premier League goals. He also went on loan to Everton in 2013-14, scoring 15 Premier League goals, before making the move permanently.

The Belgian spent a further three seasons at Goodison Park, including netting 25 goals in the 2016-17 Premier League season, prompting Manchester United to sign him for an undisclosed fee on a five-year contract.

Lukaku only spent two seasons at Manchester United, scoring 42 goals in 96 appearances for a side which under-achieved, before moving to Italy to join Inter for 80m euros.

The forward enjoyed two strong campaigns with Inter, helping the side win the Serie A in 2020-21 with 24 league goals. In August 2021, he was lured back to Chelsea for almost 98m pounds.

Lukaku underwhelmed in his first season back at Chelsea and publicly admitted his regret at leaving Inter, scoring 15 goals in 44 appearances before re-joining the Nerazzurri on loan in June 2022.

Lukaku made his international debut for Belgium against Croatia in a friendly international on February 24, 2010 and scored his first two goals for his country against Russia on November 17, 2010. He was part of the Belgium side that finished third at the 2018 World Cup.
