Ryo Miyaichi is a teenager Japanese football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Wigan Athletic on loan from Arsenal. He plays as a winger and is rated as one of the most promising young players in Europe.

Miyaichi went on trial at Arsenal for the first time in the summer of 2010 and was huge impressive. Club manager Arsene Wenger was convinced that he had unearthed a gem and signed him on a professional contract in January 2011.

Miyaichi was sent on loan to Dutch giants Feyenoord rightaway and made his debut for them against Vitesse. He was very impressive in the Eredivisie and was nicknamed ‘Ryodinho’ after Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.

Miyaichi returned to Arsenal for the 2011-12 season and after the first six months of the campaign, was sent on loan to Bolton Wanderers in January 2012 for the remainder of the campaign. In August 2012, the Japanese teenager signed for Wigan Athletic on a season-long loan deal.

Miyaichi made his international debut for Japan in a friendly match against Azerbaijan on May 23, 2012 that they won 2-0.
