Emmanuel Frimpong

Emmanuel Frimpong is a young English football player who currently features for the Premier League and European giants Arsenal. He plays as a midfielder and is regarded as one of the most promising young players in Europe.

Frimpong was born in the Ghanaian city of Kumasi but moved to Tottenham in England at a young age. He was there discovered by Arsenal and was enrolled into their youth academy alongside midfielder Jack Wilshere at the age of 9.

Frimpong continued to develop at the Gunners’ youth academy and made his debut in the Premier League against Newcastle United on August 13, 2011. In January 2012 he was loaned out to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but he ruptured a cruciate ligament injury in his right knee and returned to the Emirates.
