Craig Eastmond

Craig Eastmond is a young English football player who currently features for the English and European giants Arsenal. He is a versatile footballer who can play as a defensive midfielder and a right-back.

Eastmond joined Arsenal from Millwall when he was 11 years old and has been with the north London club since them. He was part of the team that won the FA Youth Cup in 2009 and in June that year, signed a professional contract with the north London.

Eastmond made his first-team debut for Arsenal on October 28, 2009 in the League Cup against Liverpool in a game that they won 2-1. He made his Premier League debut for the Gunners against Portsmouth in a 4-1 away victory on December 30, 2009.

Eastmond remained first of the Arsenal first-team squad in 2009-10 and played for the Gunners in the FA Cup as well as in the Premier League. He signed a new long-term contract extension in January 2010.

In January 2011, Eastmond was loaned out to Millwall for the remainder of the 2010-11 campaign and suffered a long-term ankle injury in April. He was loaned to Wycombe Wanderers in February 2012 for the rest of the 2011-12 campaign.
