Ismael Blanco

Ismael ‘Isma’ Lopez Blanco is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish football club Athletic Bilbao. He plays as a forward.

Lopez developed at Bilbao’s youth academy and played for the B team for three years between 2007 and 2010. Then in 2010 he joined Real Zaragoza B and after one year was signed up by Lugo.

In the summer of 2012 Bilbao signed back Lopez from Lugo, but he has failed to consolidate a place in the starting lineup for the Basque giants.

Lopez has played for Spain at the Under-17 and Under-19 levels, but has yet to make his debut for the senior side.
