Adrian Lopez Alvarez is a Spain international football player who currently features for the Spanish football club Atletico Madrid. He plays as a forward and is rated as one of the best players in La Liga.
Adrian is a product of Real Oviedo’s youth system and made his first-team debut in 2005. He scored four goals in 30 league matches for them in the 2005-06 season and joined Deportivo la Coruna in 2006.
After playing on loan at Alaves in 2008 and Malaga in 2008-09, he returned to Depor and established himself as one of the most promising young strikers in La Liga. After scoring 13 goals in 92 league appearances, Adrian joined Atletico in 2011 on a free transfer on a four-year contract.
Adrian has since then been an important player for Atletico and won the Europa League in 2011-12 and the UEFA Super Cup in 2012.
Adrian made his international debut for Spain on May 26, 2012 in a friendly international against Serbia and scored with a header in a 2-0 victory for La Furia Roja.
