Joel Robles Blázquez

Joel Robles is a young Spanish football player who currently features for Leeds United. He plays as a goalkeeper.

Robles developed at Atletico’s youth academy and played for the C and B team before moving up to the first team in 2010. He made his La Liga debut for the Rojiblancos on May 8, 2010 in a 1-1 draw with Sporting Gijon away from home.

Robles spent the second half of the 2011-12 season on loan at Rayo Vallecano and was drafted back into the first team for the 2012-13 campaign.

In August 2022, he joined Leeds from Real Betis on a free transfer.

Robles represented Spain at the Under-16, Under-17, Under-21 and Under-23 levels.
