Iker Muniain is a Spain international football player who currently features for the Spanish football club Athletic Bilbao. He is a versatile player can feature either as a winger or a forward and is rated as one of the best young attacking players in the world.

Muniain rose through the ranks at Bilbao and has been part of the first team since 2009. He has already made over 100 La Liga appearances for the Basque giants, earning worldwise praise for his talent, skills and vision.

Muniain was a key figure for Bilbao in the 2011-12 campaign in which the Basque giants reached the final of the Europa League and the Copa del Rey.

Muniain made his international debut for Spain against Venezuela in a friendly international on February 24, 2012. He won the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship with the Spain Under-21 side in 2011.
