Juan Bernat Velasco is a professional football player from Spain. As of 2021, he plays for Paris Saint-German. Other teams that he has played for include Bayern Munich, Valencia, and Valencia B. Bernat also plays for the Spanish National Team, representing the country in international football matches. He plays Left-Back.

He grew up in Cullera and was a product of the Valencian youth system. His youth career started in 2000 and extended to 2011. He made his senior career debut in 2011.

Senior Career

At 17, Bernat Velasco made his senior career debut. He started with Valencia in their Segunda B Division. He appeared 24 times for Valencia B and appeared 51 times for Valencia. In total, he played for Valencia from 2011 to 2014.

In July 2014, he signed with Bayern Munich and debuted for the team in August of the same year. It was also with Munich that Bernat Velasco played in his first Bundesliga match.

In 2014, he was named to the Top 20 of Boot’s Talent Rader Young Players.

Paris Saint-German

When his contract with Munich was up, Bernat Velasco signed with Paris Saint-German for a three-year deal. He was taken on to replace Yuri Berchiche. While with PSG, he played in in the Ligue 1. He was also a part of the team that won the Coupe de France and the Trophee des Champions.

In the 2019-2020 season, PSG was the runner-up for the [UEFA][1] Champions League.
