Daniel Nevil Mina Arisola is a professional football player who was born on December 9, 1980 in Santa Ana, Ecuador. Mina is best known for being one of the midfielders of the Ecuadorian club, Barcelona Sporting Club.

Even during his youth, Mina had already been signed by Barcelona, which lasted for just a year before he was able to play in the senior team. While with the senior team, he was able to play in 57 games from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, Mina was transferred to Olmedo, where in his one year he was able to play in 23 games. Mina then went back to Barcelona in 2003, but then transferred once more to Audaz Octubrino before going back again to Barcelona for two seasons. This would be the last time Mina returned to Barcelona prior to 2011. After his time in 2005 with Barcelona, Mina transferred to Macara, then to Deportivo Cuenca, before transferring to Tecnico Universitario. He also played with Deportivo Quito in 2009.

Though an excellent player, Mina was not chosen to join Ecuador’s national team.
