Markus Feulner is a professional footballer from Germany who plays as a midfielder. A player who showed tremendous promise in his youth, fell away to the misery of injuries as time went on. Feulner began his playing career with Bayern Munich, in the German giant’s youth academy. However, he was unable to sign a professional contract with the team, going on to sign with FC Koln.
Koln were struggling for survival in the 2004 season, when Feulner signed with them. In 2 and a half years, Feulner played just 38 games as the team moved in and out of top flight with regularity. He then moved on to FSV Mainz 05, in 2006 and even though the team was relegated at the end of the season, Feulner decided to stay on at the club and became an extremely influential player for Mainz.
In 2009, Feulner decided to move to Borussia Dortmund, looking to provide some stability to the rising team.
