Francisco Javier Muñoz Llompart, popularly known as Xisco, is a Spanish footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Real Betis. He is a versatile footballer who can feature either as a winger or a striker.
Xisco graduated from the youth academy at Valencia but could never make the first team. He played three seasons on loan, first at Recreativo de Huelva, then at Tenerife and then back again at Recre. He was a regular in all those teams and was quite impressive.
Valencia recalled Xisco at the start of the 2003-2004 season and played 44 games and scored 4 goals in the next couple of years. He was signed by Real Betis in the summer of 2005 and Xisco is very much a regular for Betis and is one of the most popular players among the Betis supporters. He scored a couple of late goals against Gimnàstic de Tarragona and Racing Santander, as Betis barely avoided relegation in the last matchday.
