Diego Pérezimage:Diego Pérez |Diego Pérez full name is Diego Fernando Pérez Aguado and he was born in 1980 in Montevideo, Uruguay. This defensive midfielder is a Uruguayan football player who plays for Bologna in Serie A in 2010 from AS Monaco. He even played for the Uruguay team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

A Montevideo native, Perez began his football career in Defensor Sporting at the age of 19 and soon became a first team regular player. Afterwards, he joined a larger club, CA Penarol in 2003 and played only 13 games with them before he got selected to play for Didier Deschamps AS Monaco. During this period, he had to battle a lot for his position as a midfielder against the likes of Akis Zikos, Gerard Lopez and Lucas Bernardi.

During the Italian reign in 2005-06 season, Diego was favored by Francesco Guidolin, the manager of the team. In 2010, in the month of July, Diego was reserved to play for Uruguay national football team a friendly match against Angola held in Lisboa. The next month, he got transferred to Bologna FC 1909 team.
