Oscar López Hernández is a Spanish footballer who is on the books of the Spanish club Real Betis. He plays as a defender and has been on loan at Gimnastic de Tarragona since the summer of 2006.

Oscat Lopez commenced his footballing career at the Spanish and European champions FC Barcelona and graduated from their youth academy, the cantera. He made his debut for the senior side in 2003 when he played against Recreativo de Huelva under the then Barca coach Radomir Antic. He was offloaded on loan to the Italian side Lazio for the 2004-2005 season. He made 14 Italian Serie A appearances for the Roman club before being recalled to the Camp Nou only to be sold to Real Betis.

He featured for the Andalucian side in the 2005-2006 season and played both in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup with Betis. However he was loaned out to Gimnastic for the 2006-2007 season and in the summer of 2007 he decided to extend his loan deal at Nastic to one more season.
