A football goalkeeper from Antioquia, Walter Noriega began playing professional football with Boyaca Chico F.C., in 2006. The Colombian remained with the club till 2009, amd in 2010 he joined his current club, Club Sportivo Cienciano and shifted base to Peru. During his time with the Peruvian club, Noriega has so far started all 28 games in the Primera Profesional de Peru, and made 13 saves in total. The temperamental goalkeeper also managed to get 3 yellow cards by the end of the tournament as well.
