Nikola Žigic'image:Nikola Žigic'|Nikola Žigic' is a Serbian football player who plays for the Premier League, the Birmingham City as a center forward. At 2.02 meter tall, Nikola is known to be one of the tallest players in the world who is playing for a top flight football club.
His youth career started with the Backa Topola from 1991 to 1998. From 1998-2001, he played for Backa Topola, making 76 appearances and scoring around 68 goals. In 2002, he played for Mornar Bar with 23 appearances and 15 goals, for Kolubara Lazarevac, making 8 appearances and scoring 3 goals. From 2003 onwards, Nikola played for Spartak Subotica, making 11 appearances and scoring around 14 goals.
From 2003 to 2006, he played for the Red Star team, making 79 caps and scoring almost 47 goals. For one season, 2006-07, he was with Racing Santander team, making 32 caps and 11 goals. By 2007, he had joined Valencia, for whom he played till 2010, making 28 appearances and scoring 5 goals. In 2009, he was loaned to Racing Santander, making 19 appearances and scoring 13 goals. From 2010 onwards, he is playing for the Birmingham city team, and has made 4 appearances till date. Whilst with Serbian national team, he has made 51 appearances and scored 18 goals from 2004.

Nikola has won the Serbia and Montenegro League in 2003-04 and in 2005-06 for Red Star team and also the Serbian and Montenegro cup in 2003-04 and in 2005-06. For the Valencia team, he won the Spanish cup in 2007-08 season.
Individually, Nikola won the title of Serbia’s player of the year in 2003, 2005 and in 2006. He also received the Serbia and Montenegro League as top scorer in 2003-04.
