Dušan Kuciakimage:Dušan Kuciak |Dušan Kuciak is a Slovak football player playing as a goalkeeper for SC Vaslui team, a Romanian Liga I side and also for the Slovakia national football team. At present, he is the first choice goalkeeper at the club and the second choice at the national team. Known as one of the most valuable goalkeepers from Liga I, Dusan was also a part of the Zilina youth academy. At the age of 16, he signed his first contract with AS Trencin, a Slovak Superliga team.

Kuciak made his international debut with a 2-1 away victory for the Slovakia national football team against UAE in 2006. He was called again after a two year gap in the team in 2009 for his impressive form at SC Vaslui. He was named for the 2010 World Cup in the provisional thirty men squad. In the second warm up match of Slovakia, he was replaced in the 85th minute itself, as he got injured. But, he was kept for the final 23 men squad for the World Cup 2010.

Kuciak won the Corgon Liga and the Pribina Cup with the MSK Zilina team. His team were the winners of the Corgon Liga in 2003, 2004 and in 2007, being the runner up in 2005 and in 2008 respectively. The team won the Prisbina Cup in 2003, 2004 and in 2007.

With the SC Vaslui team, Kuciak team were the runner up of the Cupa Romaniei in 2010 and the winners of the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2008.
