Antonio Rukavinaimage:Antonio Rukavina serbia|Antonio Rukavina is a Serbian football player who presently plays for TSV 1860 Munchen. Born in Belgrade, this defender is a member of the Serbian national football team after he was called up from the under 21 team. His international debut was in 2007 for Serbian national team in a qualifying match in UEFA Euro 2008 against Finland in Helsinki.
His football career started in 2002, where he spent around five seasons prior to joining Partizan. He joined FK Partizan team in 2007 after a striking delivery with FK Bezanija and eventually he became the captain of the team. The next year, he got transferred to Borussia Dortmund, a German Bundesliga team for a fee of 2.5 million Euros. In 2009, he got loaned to TSV 1860 Munchen and was permanently transferred to this team.
Some of the major teams he played for include FK Bezanija (2002-06), Partizan Beograd (2007-08) and Borussia Dortmund (2008-09). Antonia is a confident player to be trusted and had played in regular basis for his team since his debut in 2007.
Having played with Serbia 21 since 2006, he made 8 appearances and from 2007, he is playing for the Serbia national team and till date has made 22 appearances.
