Ján Duricaimage:Ján Durica soccer|Ján Durica is a Slovakian football defender, who at present plays for Lokomotiv Moscow. Born in Dunajská Streda, Czechoslovakia Durica is a sweeper too. This attacking player also likes to play the ball out of the pitch by using his passing skills.
Durica moved to FC Saturn Moscow Oblast team after having a successful UEFA Champions League campaign with FC Artmedia Bratislava. In 2009, he signed a 3 year contract with another team, Lokomotiv Moscow, which paid 3.5 million euros and overtake Celtic and Panathinaikos in an auction for the Slovakia team. In 2010, it was highly confirmed that he would join on loan basis, Hannover 95 until the end of the season.
Durica’s international career started in 2004 when he made his national team debut at the Kirin Cup in 2004 against Japan. Moreover, he was also picked for the Slovak squad for the first FIFA World Cup held in South Africa. Further, he played all the four matches at the FIFA World Cup in 2010.
