Club Brugge are the shortest price of all 16 away teams in the Europa League on Thursday but I definitely want to be with them at odds against.

The Belgian side travel to Denmark to face AaB and were it not for two fairly lacklustre efforts on their previous pair of outings, I am certain the away team would be less than even money.

A 1-1 draw with Lokeren on the weekend came after defeat at Kortrijk in the Pro League but Brugge remain four points clear at the summit and usually score goals for fun.

An incredible 61 have been plundered already in the top flight and Brugge have been free scoring in this season’s Europa League too.

Having emerged undefeated from the group stage thanks to seven points on the road, in which Michel Predu’homme’s men scored as many goals without reply, a trip to lowly AaB should hold no fears and Brugge are champions elect in Belgium.

Encouragingly for the legendary goalkeeper the goals have been shared around his squad and not having to rely on a single player to find the net is something I look for when backing a team to get the job done on the road.

While Thursday’s visitors breezed into the last 32 of this competition, AaB limply advanced thanks to finding themselves in the weakest section of all.

It didn’t take much to qualify at the expense of Rio Ave and Steaua Bucharest behind Dynamo Kiev and the Danes are struggling domestically.

It was just four wins in 14 matches in the Superliga before the winter break and AaB haven’t played a competitive fixture since early December.

Only one win in seven friendly matches since will hardly have restored any confidence amongst Kent Nielsen’s side and Brugge are tipped with almost maximum confidence at the prices.

Furthermore, AaB are averaging less than a goal per game this season and I am also taking a flyer on the away side winning while keeping a clean sheet.
