Hull City have scored in every Premier League match so far this season and have a great chance of getting something this afternoon at Anfield if that run continues.
The Tigers head to Merseyside having netted exactly twice in their last five top flight outings and they pose a very real threat to an out of sorts Reds.
Hull were just minutes away from a memorable victory at Arsenal on their final start before Danny Welbeck struck and that resulted in Steve Bruce’s side drawing 2-2 for the third time in six matches.
A win for the FA Cup finalists on Saturday would take them above their hosts and three points for Hull is not totally out of the question.
Only Chelsea and Everton have also netted in each match so far this term and Bruce will take great heart from Liverpool’s recent struggles at set pieces, in particular.
Liverpool were, unsurprisingly, totally outclassed by Real Madrid in the Champions League in midweek and the 3-0 loss means it is now seven home matches without a clean sheet this season.
That is a statistic that will alarm manager Brendan Rodgers and his side have struggled at the other end of the pitch too.
Raheem Sterling cannot do it all on his own and it remains to be seen whether Mario Balotelli will be given another chance to prove his worth in attack.
The Italian has been a non-factor since his summer move from AC Milan and Rickie Lambert could well be given the nod up front versus a powerful Hull side.
I want to be with the visitors and will be so in a couple of markets. They are certainly worthy of support in the Asians while I like the look of the 10/11 about both sides scoring too.
2pts Back Hull (+1.5, vs. Liverpool) @ 7/8 (Bet 365)
