FC Barcelona skipper Carles Puyol has hailed the departed Blaugrana star Ronaldinho as one of the greatest player ever to play for the Catalan club, just days after the player was signed by AC MIlan for 21 million euros.
Ronaldinho was signed by Milan after suffering a disastrious season in 2007-2008 and fell out with the Barca officials. But his teammates have always spoken good about him.
Barca captain Carles Puyol has now come out and had his say on his former teammate at the Camp Nou cathedral.
“Ronaldinho has given us a lot, he changed the situation of the club,” said the Euro 2008 winner.
“He was one of the greatest-ever Barcelona players. I can only thank him for what he gave to us and wish him good luck at Milan.”
