Turkish champions Galatasaray are keen on signing Real Madrid’s wantaway former Ballon d’Or winner Kaka.
The Brazil international midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu for the past few months, with opportunities limited under Jose Mourinho in recent times.
Galatasaray, who are back in the Uefa Champions League this season after several years in the cold, are grouped with Manchester United among others.
The club’s president Aysal Unal indicated Cimbom would like to bring him in, provided they reach the Champions League final 16.
“Kaka could join us, yes, but at this time I can not guarantee it,” he said. “If we negotiate the group stage of the Champions League we will try to get hold of him.
“I think that he would integrate well in our club and we would love to see him wearing the shirt of Galatasaray “
Kaka is the 2007 Ballon d’Or winner, while he lifted the 2002 World Cup with Brazil and has won La Liga, Serie A, Club World Cup and the Uefa Champions League in a glittering career.
