Chelsea are making some summer clear-outs this summer and Ivory Coast international striker Didier Drogba is one of those who are set to be swept out of Stamford Bridge.
Didier Drogba has been rumoured to be on the move away from Chelsea for several months and this summer these transfer rumours have gathered momentum. Now the player’s agent Pierre Frelot has refused to rule out a move to the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid.
When pressed by a Marca reporter about the possibility of Drogba joining the Merengues this summer, Frelot said:
“Why not? Drogba is calm because he is at a great club like Chelsea, but Real Madrid are a great club also.”
Drogba though has been linked with AC Milan and FC Barcelona, and now Real Madrid are being linked with the highly rated Ivory Coast international footballer.
