    Do you have any of the older versions of FM? One of my fautvrioes is Football Manager 2006. I played that for years! On today's machines it will run a lot quicker and the tactical side of the game is slimmed down a great deal although you do have to tweak sliders, which is sometimes frowned upon by people brought up with the roles interface'.
