Now this is something very much interesting, Real Zaragoza playmaker Pablo Aimar is on his way to the Premiership and Newcastle United, according to his agent Gustavo Muscardi.
Pablo Aimar is one of the most tricky players in the world and is also one in a long line of pretenders to El Diego II title. The 28-year old Argentine international was injured for a good fraction of the 2007-2008 season and was thereby rendered redundant in helping his Spanish club Real Zaragoza stave off relegation from the Spanish first division into the Segunda Division at the end of last season.
Aimar is almost certain to be offloaded by Zaragoza as he is one of the top wage eaners at La Romarede and Zaragoza cannot afford to pay him that much of weekly wage. His agent Gustavo Muscardi now confirms that there has been an interest from the Premiership club Newcastle United. He said:
