Everyone has have had a bite at the cherry and been hunting for a slice of the pie, so why not the siblings? The Cristiano Ronaldo saga has elevated to fever pitch as the 23-year old Portuguese winger has officially declared that he wants to play for Real Madrid from next season which has unruffled some feathers at his current club Manchester United.
And now his siblings have got their names into the equation. Ronaldo’s brother Hugo Santos Aveiro told Spanish media LaSexta:
“Between now and next year or the year after he will go to Real Madrid. Personally, I would like that. I’d like it very much.”
Typical to the feminine character, his sister Elma was more cautious about any outright declaration and said:
“He won’t decide anything until after the Euros.”
Nothing every concrete though, these quotes. After all, we all know that Ronaldo shall decide his future after the Euro 2008 winds up and these words from his siblings don’t add much. Except of course cause some fury and disgruntlement among the Manchester United supporters.
