Spain national team coach Luis Aragones is of course confident that his team can win the Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland next month but after all there is always the possibility of an exit.
And Aragones knows that and maybe that is why he has already marked out his favorities for the competition (after Spain, of course). And who are his favourites?
Let’s hear him say:
“For me, Italy is the favourite, then Portugal, but there are others that nobody has mentioned like Romania. But that is just my opinion. In reality there are 12 or 14 teams that could win it.”
Now, now….. Luis Aragones has always been amusing in his comments and when he says that 12 or 14 teams can win it, he is really asking for another rounds of laughter. There are 16 teams competing in the finals and he has marked out 14 teams who can win it! So why leave the otehr two, Luis?
