Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro has given his thoughts on their 4-1 defeat by [Bayern Munich]] in Group A in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Juve’s defeat knocked them out of the Champions League this season and forcing them to play Europa League football for the rest of the season.
Speaking after the match, Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro told the club’s official website:
“Unfortunately tonight’s match was one to forget. Especially since we had a 1-0 advantage, and were not able to win the match.
“I am sorry for the supporters who really wanted this competition, but after tonight, we end up playing in the Europa League.”
He concluded, “It is a difficult moment, but we are Juventus and we must try to react and snap out of this starting on Sunday [against Bari].”
