AS Roma midfielder Julio Baptista has claimed that he would love to join Spanish side Atletico Madrid in the near future.
The former Arsenal and Real Madrid midfielder has failed to settle in Serie A and there have been reports of him leaving the club very soon.
Baptista himself has acknowledged that he could leave Roma and that he would love to join Madrid side Atletico. He told Punto Radio:
“The interest from Atletico Madrid is an honour for me. If I was to change team then I would be happy to move there. However, I want to remain at Roma.”
