Reigning Spanish and European champions FC Barcelona cannot afford to sign Robinho from Premier League club Manchester City, according to latest reports.
ESPN reports that Barcelona do not have enough funds to sign either Robinho from Man City or Javier Mascherano from Liverpool. Both the players have been heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou with some reports suggesting the duo would be playing for the Blaugrana from January itself.
But it has now been reported that Barcelona do not have the money to sign either of the players on a permanent basis and can sign Robinho only on a loan deal.
