Manchester City coach Mark Hughes has dismissed all reports of Robinho leaving the club for Spanish and European champions Barcelona anytime soon.

Reports in recent weeks have linked the Brazilian playmaker with a move to Barcelona in January and the player himself has been quoted in one or two media reports as hinting that he would be eager to join the Catalan side.
But City manager Mark Hughes has dismissed all these reports and says that Robinho is not for sale. He told Sport:
“Running a football club is like building a culture, trying to obtain a work ethic and a mindset that allows you to be successful as a group. If you have too many people pulling in the wrong direction, you have to stop it. My values will not be compromised in the future because we are in a different situation now.
“I asked: How do you think we should lead an elite team? From there, we established a set of values and norms to which we hoped that all adhere. We would all be judged by the same rules.”
When asked whether Robinho could leave, he said:
“No chance.”
