Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola says that he hopes Spain striker David Villa recovers and plays against them on Saturday night.
Spanish champions and current league leaders Barcelona take on Valencia in what is supposed to be a crucial game in La Liga this weekend and looking ahead to the game, Barca coach Pep Guardiola says that he hopes striker Villa recovers from injury and plays against them.
The Barcelona coach said:
“I hope Villa plays because I prefer to play against the best players from each team. I also expected that Zigic can play in his place, but I think Villa will play. I understand that he wants to play, because of the prestige there is, a player wants to be playing games like this.
“The game is one of the toughest of the year. The crowd of Valencia is behind the team and both the followers as the team itself will force us to play.”
