Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o could miss the Serie A match against Genoa at the weekend because of a thigh injury, according to latest reports.
Eto’o has been bothered by the thigh injury for quite a while now and is likely to sit out Saturday’s crucial game against Genoa. Speaking to Il Corriere dello Sport, the former Barcelona striker said:
“I still feel a lot of pain in my right foot. We will see if the Inter doctors are able to lessen the pain for me.
“I will have to be on the pitch on Tuesday because we absolutely have to win, it’s an extremely important game.”
With Diego Milito also struggling, David Suazo is expected to line up in attack alongside Mario Balotelli for Jose Mourinho’s men.
