Italian club AS Roma have appointed the former Chelsea and Juventus manager Claudio Ranieri as their new coach.
Luciano Spalletti resigned as the coach of Roma earlier on Tuesday and the Serie A club made no delay in appointing his replacement.
Former Chelsea and Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has now been announced as the coach of Roma. Although an official statement is yet to be released by the club, Ranieri’s agent Ranieri’s agent, Mattia Grassani, has been quoted as saying:
“There is an agreement, tomorrow the signatures, his contract will be for two years.”
Ranieri was the coach of Juventus last season but was sacked with two matches in the league left.
