Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini has promised that his new look side shall play entertaining football and shall be able to compete at all levels.

Madrid get their season underway with a home match against Deportivo la Coruna at the Bernabeu on Saturday in the Spanish Primera Division. Madrid have spent over 200 million euros in the summer, signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United, kaka from AC Milan, Raul Albiol from Valencia and Xabi Alonso from Liverpool.
Manuel Pellegrini is also the new coach of Real Madrid but is buoyant that his new look Madrid side can play entertaining beautiful football.
Looking ahead to the season, Pellegrini told’ Marca:
“I don’t think we’ll have problems balancing out their [Barcelona’s] football. I don’t know exactly what Barcelona’s best point is. They had a great year, but let’s see their level now because performances change or motivations are different.
“What I am sure of is that you will see an entertaining Real Madrid, a good Real Madrid, which will have to compete not only with Barcelona but with all our rivals.”
