Italian champions Inter Milan have been linked with a shock move to sign French star Franck Ribery from Bayern Munich.
According to Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan are keen on starting negotiations with Bayern Munich for the acquisition of Ribery.
Bayern Munich have made it clear that their most prized asset is not up for sale this summer and have slammed the door on Real Madrid’s face on more than one occasion this summer.
But it appears that Inter Milan are not giving up hope of signing the 26-year-old. But it is not going to be easy at all for Inter to convince both the club and the player.
