VfL Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko has declared that he is not moving anywhere this summer but has admitted that he is sad at not being allowed to don on the colours of Italian giants AC Milan next season.
Dzeko was one of the most frightening strikers in Europe last season as he scored 26 goals in the German Bundesliga to lead Wolfsburg to their first ever German championship. The Bosnian international had been linked with a move to Italian giants and European powerhouse AC Milan this summer and had himself said that he would relish playing for the seven times former European champions.
But Wolfsburg have rejected all offers from Milan and the 23-year-old has now resigned himself to playing for the German champions. Dzeko says that although he will play for the Wolves, he is sad that he has not been allowed to leave for the San Siro.
He told Sky Sports 24:
āI am staying at Wolfsburg. But I am not happy. I would like to join Milan, but I am tied to a contract and the club have decided not to release me.ā
