Bayern Munich star Luca Toni will stay on at the Bavarian club, the player’s agent has confirmed.
Speaking to tuttomercatoweb, Toni’s agent Tulio Tinti confirmed that the Italian international striker would be staying on at the Allianz Arena beyond the summer. He said:
“That is fantasy football. I haven’t heard from anyone. There will be no return [to Italy]. Toni will remain there.”
Toni has been one of the best players for Bayern Munich since he joined them and although he couldn’t score a smany goals as he usually does this season, he has still be a stand-out player in a Bayern season that has been them finish a disappointing second in the league and also fell out of the UEFA Champions League at the quarter-final stage.
