Newly crowned Italian champions Inter Milan are looking forward to signing the Portuguese international defender Ricardo Carvalho from Premier League side Chelsea this summer.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho himself has declared that he is looking to sign his Portuguese compatriot from Chelsea, where Mourinho coached for just over three years.
The Special One told Sky Sport Italia:
“Carvalho is one of the best central defenders in the world. It was impossible to sign him last year, but now it’s possible.”
Carvalho, though, is reportedly not interested in leaving Stamford Bridge anytime soon but with his good relationship with Mourinho, things could change.
