Premier League cashbag Manchester City have denied that they have made any moves to sign the Cameroonian international striker Samuel Eto’o from FC Barcelona.
It had been alleged in the media that Manchester City were eager to land the highly rated Barcelona star at the City of Manchester Stadium in the summer. But the Eastlands club have denied such reports and insist that they have made no formal bids.
Eto’o is currently the scorer in the Spanish first division and is one of the best strikers in Europe.
