Gianfranco Zola has signed a contract extension with Premier League club West Ham United which will now see him stay at Upton Park until 2009.
It has been confirmed that Zola shall stay on at West Ham as the club’s manager until 2013. The former Chelsea star told West Ham’s official website:
“I am delighted to have signed the contract.We have a project that we are taking forward with the coaching staff and with [club technical director] Gianluca Nani and [club CEO] Scott Duxbury. We are very much working together and we believe very much in the project we are working on. We are going to try everything we can to make it happen.”
