FC Barcelona coach Victor Valdes could leave Camp Nou at the end of the season if he is not provided a new contract, according to his agent.
Valdes’ agent Carvajal has admitted that both he and his client are keen to stay on at Barcelona, where the player has been since his childhood. But in recent weeks, there has been speculation on his future at the club as the Spanish custodian has commited quite a number of costly errors for Barcelona, both in La Liga and in the UEFA Champions League.
This has led many to suggest that Barcelona should look for a new and better goalkeeper and has in turn increased rumours that Valdes would be bootd out. His agent Gines Carvajal has told RAC 1 that valdes might consider leaving the club.
He said:
“For eight months, nothing has been said about the renewal. Victor and I are only thinking about Barça. But he is an extraordinary goalkeeper that is good enough to play for Barcelona and I know that there are four or five clubs looking for keepers.”
